Back by popular demand, this annual don’t-miss FUNdamentals of Florida Healthcare Law CLE program focuses this year on Florida’s Medicaid Program – we’re going to cover “Medicaid in a Day”. This lively and fast-paced CLE program is designed to be immediately useful to new attorneys, in-house counsel, lawyers needing a Florida Medicaid refresher and for other healthcare professionals such as risk managers, compliance officers and HIPAA personnel who need a fundamental understanding of Florida’s Medicaid Program. Presentations will be followed by interactive panel discussions. Questions are welcome from the live and internet audiences to presenters and panel members. Topics include Medicaid Program overview; Medicaid long-term care from the recipient’s perspective; marketing, restrictions and provider agreements; the impact of health reform, defending against public Medicaid investigations and private fraud and abuse investigations and changing Medicaid policy. Speakers and attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable attire.
