Course Classification: Intermediate Level
Live Audio Webcast Presentation: Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Course No. 1558R

The new requirements for e-filing become mandatory on April 1, 2013. Do you know how to e-file? Do you know what e-filing is and what you will have to do? Can a clerk refuse your paper filing? Are you still wondering what all of this e-stuff is about? The e-world is fast upon all of us, even (or especially) RPPTL lawyers, and the RPPTL Section wants to ensure that these questions are asked. The webinar is entitled “What Every (RPPTL) Lawyer Needs to Know about E-Filing and E-Service” and our speakers will be technology pioneers Rohan Kelley and Laird A. Lile. They will review the current state of the e-world, including a review of the updated court rules REQUIRING service by e-mail and e-filing, and applicability to RPPTL members and their practices. The procedures for service by e-mail and e-filing continue to evolve.
