2014 Masters Seminar on Ethics
The 2014 Masters Seminar on Ethics encompasses President Eugene Pettis’ theme “Embracing Connectivity”. In celebration of this year’s theme, the Masters Seminar on Ethics features a diverse and dynamic group of speakers and a highly acclaimed Judicial Panel who will discuss a variety of ethics issues faced by both new and seasoned lawyers. This lively and entertaining seminar will present a discussion of the practice of law from an ethics perspective, highlighting an understanding of the expectations of civility, candor, and ethical behavior in and out of the courtroom, and ethical considerations related to the impact of technology in changing the practice of law, and creating balance in practice and personal life. These esteemed speakers and panelists will provide insight and best-practice tips to assist lawyers in establishing a foundation for practice based in ethics and its impact on dealing with colleagues, clients, the court, and will highlight the integration of technology and the connectivity of these relationships and issues. The 2014 Masters Seminar on Ethics will benefit and appeal to lawyers in all fields, including those practicing transactional, civil, and criminal law, in understanding how to recognize ethical pitfalls and overcome many of the ethical challenges that lawyers face today.

The 2013 Masters Seminar on Ethics features dynamic speakers discussing a variety of ethics issues that many lawyers face today.
