This new seminar will provide in depth information on cutting-edge issues and planning techniques facing trusts and estates practitioners. Topics will include planning under DOMA after the Windsor and Perry cases, practical planning and analysis for portability of the estate and gift-tax exemptions, drafting pointers when naming trusts and individuals as beneficiaries of IRAs, and asset protection trusts in light of recent developments. The ethics portion of the program will address the new Florida law on gifts to attorneys.
