Special Committee on Diversity and Inclusion

The mission of the Special Committee on Diversity and Inclusion is to set up and implement the Florida Bar diversity grant program for local and specialty bar associations. The committee will also handle other tasks as assigned by The Florida Bar President.

The purpose of the Voluntary Bar Association Diversity Leadership Grant program is to support initiatives and programs which encourage diversity, diversity training and dialogue among lawyers in Florida through financial support of conferences, seminars, summits and symposia planned and hosted by local and specialty bar associations. Completed applications may be submitted by mail or electronically, and must be received on or before Friday, October 19, 2012 for consideration in the first cycle. Second cycle proposal must be received on or by February 16, 2013.
