The report of The Insurance Practices Special Study Committee is available here. The committee was appointed in May, 1999 by Florida Bar President Howard C. Coker and the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar to study the practices of certain insurance companies as those practices relate to the delivery of legal services to policyholders in the State of Florida. The report was delivered to the board on June 2, 2000. The board approved the recommendations of the committee at that time.
