In order to be registered as a Florida Registered Paralegal you must complete an application and meet one of the eligibility requirements. A $150.00 fee must accompany the application. Please make the check payable to The Florida Bar.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING GRANDFATHERING -- The grandfathering provision of the eligibility requirement will sunset MARCH 1, 2011. After MARCH 1, 2011, you CANNOT use grandfathering in order to register. After MARCH 1, 2011, you must meet the education/work experience OR certification requirement for eligibility. If you are using grandfathering as the basis for registration, your completed application including attorney attestations MUST be dated on or before MARCH 1, 2011. AFTER MARCH 1, 2011, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO USE EXPERIENCE ALONE (THE GRANDFATHERING PROVISION) AS A BASIS FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION.
