This Conference is a must for bar association officers and staff: The Florida Bar recognizes the importance of the local voluntary bar associations in the legal profession and the critical role that bar associations play in this process. With the challenges of the recent economic downturn, it is now more important than ever for bar associations to convene and share information, to identify current trends and best practices and contribution to bar initiatives. When economic times are tough, it is important for staffed and non-staffed bar associations to take advantage of networking opportunities to ensure that the work of bar associations continues as efficiently and effectively as possible.
The conference will begin with a working lunch on Friday, July 16 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, followed by opening remarks, a keynote address and panel discussions throughout the afternoon and a reception that night at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. It will continue on Saturday, July 17 with a buffet breakfast in the morning, followed by general sessions and panel discussions from speakers until the conference ends at noon.
We look forward to all Florida bar associations being represented at the 2010 Conference to share their expertise and to get answers about ongoing initiatives!
Attendees will earn CLE credit for attending the general sessions and panel discussions.
