The ROPES Speakers Bureau Challenge Round-up is underway.
The following Voluntary Bar Associations are participating in the speaker recruitment effort:
ABOTA-FL Chapter; Broward County Justice Assn.; Broward County Women Lawyers Assn.; Clearwater Bar Assn.; Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Assn.; FAWL-Pasco; Flagler County Bar Assn.; Hendry-Glades Bar Assn.; Jacksonville Bar Assn.; Marion County Bar Assn.; Orange County Bar Assn.; Palm Beach County Bar Assn.; Port St. Lucie Bar Assn.; St. Petersburg Bar Assn.; Sumter County Bar Assn.; Tallahassee Bar Assn.; Virgil Hawkins Fl Chapter National Bar Assn.; Volusia County Bar Assn.
The campaign will end on March 31 or at a time when 1500 speakers are recruited, whichever comes first. The Florida Bar will recognize the first VBA that has the largest percentage of their members to sign up with an additional $500 reward.

The Voluntary Bar Leaders Conference and Leadership Academy meeting will bring together the largest single gathering of bar leaders in Florida. The purpose of this voluntary bar association grant program is to support initiatives and programs which encourage diversity, diversity training and dialogue among lawyers in Florida through financial support of conferences, seminars, summits and symposia planned and hosted by local and specialty bar associations.
