Miami Coalition of Christians and Jews honors Bass and Bierman
THE MIAMI COALITION OF CHRISTIANS AND JEWS recently presented awards to Hilarie Bass and Donald I. Bierman. Bass was preseted the MCCJ Silver Medallion Humanitarian Award and Bierman the Lifetime Achievement Award. Bass is chair of the ABA’s Litigation Section and of the United Way of Miami-Dade County. Bierman, a lawyer, has served as chair of the Metropolitan Dade County Community Relations Board and was a charter member and treasurer of the Miami Civilian Investigative Panel, an agency created and empowered by voters to conduct independent and impartial oversight of the Miami Police Department.
