Florida Coastal hosts May Citizenship Day
The Naturalization and Citizenship Clinic at Florida Coastal School of Law hosted its annual Citizenship Day in coordination with the American Immigration Lawyer Association.
More than 100 people participated in the single-day workshop designed to assist lawful permanent residents eligible for naturalization.
The event is part of a collaboration among a number of local groups, including Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and other institutions dedicated to elevating the importance of civics education. This event is where applications are prepared and filed on behalf of participants who have already gone through substantial screening to ensure their success at the final interview and citizenship tests.
