Jonathan H. Dunleavy has become a shareholder with Fowler White Burnett in Miami. Dunleavy focuses on admiralty and maritime law, marine insurance, personal injury, commercial litigation, and products liability.

Daniel B. Allison, Albert Alvarez, Edward “Ted” J. McNamara, Stephen P. Smith, Perry F. Sofferman, and Isaura Velez

have joined Fowler White Burnett. Allison works in the insurance practice group. Alvarez is a member of the commercial litigation and medical malpractice practice groups. McNamara is a member of the firm’s insurance practice group. Smith is a member of the medical malpractice group. Sofferman practices corporate, intellectual property, and international law. Velez practices in the firm’s corporate, international, and intellectual property practice groups.

Katrina Lynn Dannheim has joined Stites & Harbison in Louisville. Dannheim is counsel with the firm in the business litigation service group.

Gunster has expanded in the Orlando market by adding the team of attorneys from Pohl & Short of Winter Park. Joining Gunster are Frank L. Pohl, Houston E. Short, Richard A. Heinle, Robert S. MacDonald, and James E. Shepherd. Pohl concentrates on complex real estate, tax, and corporate transactions. Short and Shepherd focus on commercial litigation. Heinle focuses on corporate law. MacDonald practices in the areas of estate planning, business law, and real estate.

Jaime A. Quick has joined Haile Shaw & Pfaffenberger in North Palm Beach. Quick focuses on marital and family law matters.

Isabelle E. Azria has joined Arnstein & Lehr in Miami as an associate in the commercial and real estate finance transactions practice group.

David Shannon has joined Lewis Brisbois in Ft. Lauderdale as a partner. Shannon focuses on structuring and negotiating purchase agreements for corporate aircraft and managing general corporate legal issues, analyzing corporate entities, and providing legal and accounting advice related to business planning strategies.

Stephanie Vaughan, a Stetson University College of Law professor, has been promoted to associate dean for student engagement.

John W. Reis has joined Smith Moore Leatherwood in Charlotte, NC, as an equity partner, heading its large-loss subrogation and commercial contingency practice.

Reid Barrineau has joined Burr & Forman in Atlanta as an associate in the corporate & tax practice group.

Robert “Rob” Sickles has re-joined Broad and Cassel in Tampa as managing partner and John Gaset joins the firm as an associate. Sickles and Gaset are members of the commercial litigation practice group.

Steven Mezer has joined Becker & Poliakoff  in Tampa as a shareholder in the community association law practice group.

Brian Page has joined Forster Boughman & Lefkowitz in Orlando, focusing on estate planning, taxation, corporate and business law, probate, and trust matters.

Eftihios Evan Andronis and Allison Drompp have joined Sioli Alexander Pino in Miami as associates focusing on admiralty/maritime law and insurance litigation.

Shannon M. Cook has joined Kelley Kronenberg in Orlando. Cook focuses on workers’ compensation matters.

Daniel A. Miller has joined Kubicki Draper in West Palm Beach where he will focus on handling commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy matters.

Monica Mason has joined Trenam Kemker in St. Petersburg as senior counsel and will practice in the business transactions group.

Suzanne M. Amaducci-Adams and Steven D. Lear will assume the roles of practice group leaders for the Bilzin Sumberg real estate and corporate groups, respectively.

Matthew Roepstorff has joined the Pavese Law Firm in Ft. Myers as an associate in its litigation practice division.

Peter L. Tragos has become a partner with Tragos Sartes and Tragos in Clearwater. He focuses on personal injury, employment law, and criminal defense.

Christine M. Marrero has joined Kelley Kronenberg in Ft. Lauderdale focusing on employment and labor law, as well as OSHA.

Trenam Law in Tampa has appointed Paul D. Bain as co-leader of the commercial litigation group and Robert G. Stern as co-leader of the real estate and lending transactions practice.

Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., has named Vivian Chavez as director of operations. Other LSGM promotions include Jeffrey Hearne as director of litigation; Monica Vigues-Pitan as the director of program development; and Ilenia Sanchez-Bryson as director of client services.

Cristina Pierson has joined Kelley/Uustal in Ft. Lauderdale. Pierson is board certified in business litigation.

Christina M. Martin has been named a staff attorney at Pacific Legal Foundation’s Atlantic Center in Palm Beach Gardens. She focuses on property rights, individual rights, and free enterprise.

Koko Head of Jacksonville has become general counsel at Hakimian Holdings, Inc., a regional real estate investment company.

Matthew J. Mueller has joined Wiand Guerra King in Tampa as of counsel. Mueller focuses on white-collar criminal cases.
