H eydasch petitions for reinstatement

Pursuant to Rule 3-7.10, Axel Kurt Heydasch, has petitioned the Supreme Court for Bar reinstatement.

In an order dated May 26, 2011, Heydasch was suspended for three years. Heydasch was the settlement agent for numerous real estate transactions that included unsupported charges and inaccurate payoff amounts on the HUD-1 settlement statements. Heydasch entrusted a then-suspended lawyer in his employ to handle the subject closings and failed to adequately supervise him. Additionally, Heydasch did not provide the Bar with trust accounting records in compliance with the Rules Regulating Trust Accounts.

Any persons having knowledge bearing upon Heydasch’s fitness or qualifications to resume the practice of law should contact William Mulligan, Bar Counsel, The Florida Bar, Suite M-100, 444 Brickell Avenue, Miami 33131, phone 305-377-4445.
