Fifth Circuit needs a judge
The Fifth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy resulting from the resignation of Judge William J. Singbush.

Applicants must have been a member of the Bar for the preceding five years, registered voters and reside in Hernando, Lake, Marion, Citrus, or Sumter counties at the time he/she assumes office. The person appointed will likely not serve in Ocala and will possibly serve in multiple counties.

An original signed application with attachments, five copies of the application with attachments, and an electronic copy of the completed application with attachments must be delivered to Schroth no later than 5 p.m., November 4.

The electronic copy of the application with attachments should be in PDF form and should be submitted on a CD or thumb drive.
