Seventy-five percent of Florida State University College of Law students have recently made cash gifts to the law school. Students contributed during an annual fund drive held January 24-30.
“We’re all thrilled by this result,” said College of Law Dean Don Weidner. “The students wouldn’t give at this level unless they loved the faculty. The drive was such a success because of student leadership and challenge gifts by the faculty.” Thirty-six faculty members made challenge gifts of their own to inspire student giving.
Florida State is one of few law schools in the nation that solicits contributions to its annual fund from students.
