International Law Firm looking for an experienced bilingual Real Estate Paralegal (Spanish and English, Portuguese a plus) with extensive knowledge in both real estate and commercial transactions. Candidate must be proficient in the preparation of files for closing (i.e. lien searches, estoppels, review of surveys, environmental and appraisal reports, preparation and review of title commitments, performing title and ATIDS searches, clearing title exceptions, reviewing surveys, obtaining and analyzing lien searches and litigation/judgment searches, preparation of title insurance policies and endorsements and both RESPA and non-RESPA settlement statements, preparation of sellers documentation, loan documentation, etc.), and working with bank on preparation and review of all loan documents. Additionally, candidate must have knowledge in performing all closing and post-closing obligations, issuing title policies and preparation of closing Binders. Candidate must be able to manage and meet deadlines, must be detail oriented and have strong follow-up and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and have outstanding communication skills. Candidate must also have the ability to work with diverse customers, personnel and maintain a high-level of customer service and be self-motivated. The candidate must be proficient with Displaysoft, ATIDS, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PC Law. Working hours are from 9:00 – 6:00 with an hour lunch.
