The Florida Bar Journal & News Editorial Board selected F. Malcolm Cunningham, Jr., and Amy L. Fischer as the recipients of the 2013 Florida Bar Journal Excellence in Writing Award. Their article, “Picking Cotton: Ordinary Business Records Doctrine as Applied to Insurer’s Privilege Claims” was published in the May 2013 issue of the Journal.
Each year, a committee of the Editorial Board selects a recipient based on writing quality, substance, difficulty, and style of the article.
F. Malcolm Cunningham, Jr., is the managing partner of The Cunningham Law Firm, P.A., in West Palm Beach. He is a graduate of Howard University School of Law and a former law clerk to Judge Joseph W. Hatchett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He focuses his practice on construction, business, and insurance disputes.
Amy L. Fischer is an associate of The Cunningham Law Firm, P.A., in West Palm Beach. She is a graduate of The University of Florida Levin College of Law and is board certified by The Florida Bar in construction law. She focuses her practice on construction and business disputes and appeals.
