Adams and Reese has merged with Volpe, Bajalia, Wickes, Rogerson & Wachs in Jacksonville. Timothy W. Volpe will serve as the partner in charge of Adams and Reese’s new Jacksonville office. Other partners joining Adams and Reese include Michael D. Lee; Matthew P. McLauchlin; John T. Rogerson III; and Alan S. Wachs. Joining as special counsel are Michael L. Duncan; Christopher T. Harris; and Leslie A. Wickes. Associates include Daren L. Anderson; Kyle C. Jacobs; Jamie W. Olinto; and Caroline M. Prieto.

Kristie Hatcher-Bolin has been promoted to shareholder in the Lakeland office of GrayRobinson. Hatcher-Bolin focuses in the areas of appellate, general civil and commercial litigation, and employment law.

T.J. Heinemann has joined The Karp Law Firm, He will concentrate on estate planning, elder law, tax planning, business succession planning, and probate and trust administration.

Brian K. Furgala has been promoted to senior associate with GrayRobinson in Orlando. Furgala focuses on the design, installation, and operation of qualified and nonqualified retirement and welfare plans.

Scott A. Underwood of Fowler White Boggs in Tampa has been named statewide practice group leader of the firm’s business and appellate litigation practice group.

Christopher Spuches has become a partner with Ehrenstein Charbonneau Calderin in Miami. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and receivership matters.

Kemp, Tampa, business reorganization and financial restructuring; Brian H. Koch, Ft. Lauderdale, litigation; Antonio Peña, Miami, corporate and securities; Aaron T. Deborah C. Brown has rejoined Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing in Tampa. Brown represents employers in labor and employment law matters, and clients in education law matters.

Karen M. Morinelli has joined Jackson Lewis in Tampa as a partner. Morinelli focuses on labor and employment law.

Christopher Carmody has been promoted to shareholder in the Orlando office of GrayRobinson. Carmody focuses on government relations and also practices procurement, sunshine, litigation, land use and construction, and sports law.

Melissa Koch has joined Akerman Senterfitt in Orlando as of counsel in the corporate practice group where she will concentrate on general transactional and intellectual property representation with an emphasis on the supply chain, technology, and industrial services industries.

Matthew D. Armstrong, Courtney M. Dunn, Ronald D. Edwards, Jr., Richard E. Englebright, Jr., Michael S. Provenzale, and Jill Davis Simon have been promoted to senior associates at Lowndes Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed in Orlando. Armstrong focuses on corporate and securities law. Dunn focuses on general intellectual property matters. Edwards focuses on litigation. Englebright concentrates on commercial foreclosures, commercial loan workouts, real estate, land use and property rights litigation, and general commercial litigation. Provenzale focuses in the areas of creditor’s rights and real estate transactions, development, and finance. Simon divides her time among the commercial litigation practice, the labor and employment practice, and the estate and probate litigation practice.

Warren T. Zinn and Jennifer A. Ragatz have joined Zarco Einhorn Salkowski & Brito in Miami. Zinn will focus in the areas of commercial real estate transactions along with complex commercial litigation. Ragatz focuses on complex real estate and business matters.

P. Benjamin Zuckerman has been named partner-in-charge of Buckingham Doolittle & Burroughs’ Boca Raton office. Zuckerman focuses on bankruptcy law.

Matthew D. Katz has become the managing member of Katz, Barron, Squitero, Faust, Friedberg, English & Allen in Ft. Lauderdale. Katz focuses on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and renewable and beneficial reuse development, and finance.

Brenden S. Moriarty and Maureen C. Chiofalo have formed Moriarty & Chiofalo located in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch. They will focus on probate and estate planning and family law. Carol A. McGuire has joined the firm as of counsel. Her practice focuses on land use and litigation.

Barry D. Lapides has joined Berger Singerman in Miami as a partner and member of the business, finance, and tax team.

Alfred J. Malefatto has been elected a shareholder of Lewis, Longman & Walker, in West Palm Beach. Malefatto practices environmental, land use, and administrative law.

Siemon & Larsen has partnered with GrayRobinson and will operate as GrayRobinson in Boca Raton. Charlie Siemon and Wendy Larsen will lead the Boca office. They bring with them Michael Marshall, a land use attorney and planning consultant.

Michael V. Leeman and Hema A. Persad joined Carlton Fields in Tampa as associates. Leeman focuses his practice on a variety of commercial litigation matters that include banking litigation, business disputes, class action litigation, contract disputes, and real estate litigation. Persad’s commercial litigation practice focuses on real estate litigation, foreclosures, contract claims, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy, and general business litigation.

Michael R. Broadrick of Boca Raton has been named in-house general counsel for PuroSystems, Inc.

Lawrence Anzalone has joined Burnetti, P.A., in Lakeland. Anzalone is a board certified workers’ compensation lawyer and also a certified circuit court mediator.

Ido J. Alexander has joined Damian & Valori in Miami as a member of the bankruptcy and receivership practice groups.

Frank D. Hosley has become a partner with Seipp & Flick in Coral Gables and the firm will now be known as Seipp, Flick & Hosley. Dustin A. Lane has also been named a partner with the firm.

Jeffrey D. Slanker has joined Sniffen & Spellman in Tallahassee as an associate.

Lori A. Sochinl, Andrew Abel, and Sara Noonan have joined Schlesinger and Associates in Miami. Sochin will serve in an of counsel capacity.

Leslie J. Croland has joined Duane Morris in Miami as a partner. Croland focuses on corporate law, with a concentration on private equity financings; emerging companies; mergers and acquisitions; and securities.

Sean L. Ingram has become a partner with Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg in West Palm Beach, and Eduardo J. Quiñones has been promoted to counsel. Ingram is a patent attorney. Quiñones focuses his practice on patent procurement in a variety of technologies, including software, electrical, mechanical, and biomedical inventions.

Joseph P. Discepola has joined Alan Goldfarb, P.A., in Miami as an associate. Discepola focuses his civil trial practice on representing victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful death caused by car accidents, medical malpractice, maritime-related incidents, construction and job-site accidents, defective products, and other negligent actions.

Melissa N. Madsen has joined Kynes, Markman & Felman in Tampa as an associate. Madsen will focus on litigation support and civil appeals, and in criminal defense, sentencing, appeals, and post conviction relief.

Jason D. Salvin has been promoted to partner of Peckar & Abramson in Miami. Salvin is board certified in construction law.

Stephanie C. Zimmerman has joined the Florida Department of Children and Families’ Children’s Legal Services in Tampa as the statewide director of appeals.

Allen, Dyer, Doppelt, Milbrath & Gilchrist has relocated its Miami office to 1221 Brickell Avenue, Suite 2400 in downtown Miami. The firm practices intellectual property law.

Christopher P. Taylor has opened The Law Firm of Christopher P. Taylor, located at 1615 S. Congress Ave, Suite 103, in Delray Beach. Taylor focuses on estate, probate, trust, and guardianship matters.

Brad H. Milhauser has formed the Milhauser Law Firm, P.L., located at 4800 N. Federal Hwy., Suite 302-E, Boca Raton 33431. Milhauser focuses on estate planning, asset protection, probate/trust administration, and business planning.

Sophia NS Blair has opened SNSB Appellate Law Firm, P.L., in Pompano Beach. The firm’s practice is limited to contract-related appeals for contractual disputes arising from matters including: marital, residential, business, bankruptcy, employment, entertainment, and insurance.

Barnaby L. Min has joined Jackson Health System as the director of contract management. Min is responsible for all of Jackson Health System’s transactional work.

Steven J. Adamczyk has been named a partner in Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest in Ft. Myers. He oversees the firm’s estate planning and probate practice.

Cozen O’Connor has opened an office in West Palm Beach and D. Scott Elliott, Michael Botos, Harvey Feintuch, A. Kenneth Levine, Simeon Brier, and John David Dickenson are joining the firm as partners. Elliot, Botos, Levine, and Dickenson will reside in the West Palm Beach office. Brier will work from both the Miami and West Palm Beach offices. Feintuch will be working out of the West Palm Beach and New York offices. Elliott focuses on trust and estate law. Botos focuses on the development of commercial and residential projects, transactional real estate, retail and office leasing and aggregate and sand mining leases and sales. Giordano handles a variety of business and commercial litigation matters, with a special focus on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, partnership disputes, commercial foreclosures, contract and corporate disputes, and general and professional liability lawsuits.

Michael R. Dal Lago has joined Hahn Loeser & Parks in Naples. Dal Lago focuses on creditors’ rights, reorganization, and bankruptcy law.

Teresa K. Bowman and Andrew R. Boyer have joined Boyer & Jackson in Sarasota as partners and the firm will now be known as Boyer, Jackson, Bowman & Boyer. Bowman focuses on Medicaid and long-term care counseling, estate planning and end-of-life decisions, probate and trust administration, special needs trust planning, and VA benefits. Boyer focuses on estate planning and probate, trust administration, guardianship and Medicaid and long-term care counseling.

Marian Ancheta Llera has joined Concepción Martinez & Bellido in Miami as a partner. Her practice focuses on advising international private wealth clients in connection with personal U.S. tax planning matters, including estate planning and structuring of U.S. investments.

David Stahl and Arthur “Rob” Weaver have joined Feldman Gale in Miami as an associate. Stahl and Weaver practice intellectual property law.

Scott R. Austin has joined VLP Law Group in Ft. Lauderdale. Austin is board certified in intellectual property law.

Peter E. Shapiro has opened Shapiro Law at 1351 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway, Suite 101, Ft. Lauderdale. The firm will focus in areas of bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation. Shapiro will also serve as of counsel to Polenberg Cooper Saunders & Riesberg.

Association Law Group has relocated to the Penthouse Suite, located at 1200 Brickell Avenue in Miami. The firm focuses on condominium and homeowner association law.

Peter E. Shapiro has joined Polenberg, Cooper, Saunders, & Riesberg in Ft. Lawderdale as of counsel. Shapiro is a bankruptcy attorney who focuses on debtors and creditors’ rights.

Rex E. Moule has joined GrayRobinson in Melbourne as a shareholder, where he will practice in the areas of wills, trusts, and estates law.

Jason L. Scarberry has joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate. Scarberry focuses his practice on the defense of claims made and suits brought against attorneys, accountants, corporate directors, and officers as well as other professionals.

Greene Hamrick Perrey Quinlan & Schermer in Bradenton will now be known as Greene Hamrick Quinlan Schermer & Esposito. The firm’s new name acknowledges Janelle L. Esposito. Esposito focuses in the areas of business and commercial law, banking, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, real estate law, landlord/tenant disputes, trust/estate litigation, and commercial foreclosures. Philip E. Perrey also has become of counsel with the firm. Perrey is a board certified real estate lawyer.

Jennifer L. Todd has joined Steven Glaros and Associates in Tampa. Todd ficuses in family and marital law.

Terence K. Bonner has joined Kelley Kronenberg in West Palm Beach. Bonner focuses his practice on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Act, the Jones Act, and the Defense Base Act.

Amy Koltnow has become a partner with Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky, Abate & Webb in Ft. Lauderdale. Koltnow oversees complex litigation matters and has substantial experience in the class action and extra-contractual/bad faith arena.
