Joseph Rebak, Brian Tague, Bryan West, and Maria Priovolos Gonzalez have joined Akerman in Miami as partners and Lorayane Perez joins as an associate. Rebak focuses on complex commercial litigation. Tague focuses on complex real estate transactions. West focuses on international litigation and arbitration, with a focus on disputes arising from cross border business transactions. Gonzalez focuses on complex commercial litigation. Perez focuses on commercial litigation.

Patricia L. Strowbridge and Christine E. Arendas have opened Adoption, Surrogacy and Family Law Firm, P.A., in Orlando.

Nicole C. Morris of The Law Offices of Nicole C. Morris, P.A., has opened an additional office in Palm Beach Gardens. Morris focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and guardianship.

Shaddrick “Shad” Haston has joined the Florida Assisted Living Association in Tallahassee as the new chief executive officer.

David R. Miller, Jr., has joined Kubicki Draper in its West Palm Beach office where he will focus on class action, commercial/corporate, construction defect, employment, intellectual property, premises liability, and real estate matters.

Lissette M. Carreras, Jeremy S. Korch, and Hayley E. Gerson have joined Bast Amron in Miami. Carreras practices commercial litigation and insolvency. Korch practices in the area of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and insolvency. Gerson practices bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial litigation.

Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan has opened a Miami office at 255 Aragon Avenue. Joseph M. Fasi II will be the partner in charge of the office and will continue representing clients in high-stakes litigation.

Ana M. Veliz has joined Katz, Barron, Squitero, Faust, Friedberg, English & Allen in Miami as a partner. Veliz focuses on estate planning and administration and Medicaid planning for long-term care benefits.
