Kenneth G. Spillias of West Palm Beach has been named president and managing shareholder of Lewis, Longman & Walker. Spillias practices in the areas of local government, land use, and civil litigation and appeals.

Erin M. Diaz and Jason A. Glusman have become shareholders in Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford and Lindsay T. Brigman, Julie A. Campbell, Damian D. Daley, Craig Ferrante, Chad E. Leeper, Jacob J. Liro, A. Scott Lundeen, R. Baron Ringhofer, and Vivianne A. Wicker have been promoted to partner. In Ft. Lauderdale, Glusman represents clients in litigation involving pharmacy negligence, aviation, employment, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, and ADA lawsuits. In Miami, Daley represents clients in products liability, general liability, premises liability and first-party insurance defense litigation. In Naples, Campbell focuses on commercial civil litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, construction litigation, and class actions. Ferrante represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation arising from traditional tort claims. Ringhofer defends claims that involve construction defect, medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, general negligence, and real estate. In Orlando, Leeper focuses on premises liability, trucking litigation, transportation litigation, commercial litigation, general liability, medical malpractice, professional liability, and products liability. In Tampa, Diaz focuses primarily on defending physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice and nursing home litigation. Brigman focuses on medical malpractice, premises liability, automobile negligence, and catastrophic injury.

Dale Clarke has joined Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel in Miami.

Keith Grossman has opened Grossman Law & Conflict Management, located at 7270 College Parkway, Suite One, in Ft. Myers.

Tenisia Burke and Elizabeth Bright Wallace joined the Duval County Office of the Public Defender as assistant public defenders in the county court unit.

Ryan B. Lamchick and Bruce A. Lamchick have formed the Lamchick Law Group, P.A., in Miami, combining their litigation and transactional expertise.

Ellen M. Leibovitch has joined Assouline & Berlowe as a partner in Boca Raton and will serve as department head for its labor and employment law group.

Jon Gibbs has become of counsel to Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed in Orlando. Gibbs is an intellectual property lawyer.

David Ward and Michael Bruning have joined McGlinchey Stafford in Jacksonville and Ft. Lauderdale, respectively. Ward joins as an associate and will represent clients in consumer financial services litigation, real estate litigation, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. Bruning joins as an associate and will also focus his practice on the representation of clients in consumer financial services litigation involving real estate, creditors’ rights, and foreclosures.

Andrew Kwan has joined Beasley, Hauser, Kramer & Galardi in West Palm Beach as an associate. He concentrates his practice in complex business litigation in federal and state courts.

Aaron A. Wernick has joined Furr & Cohen in Boca Raton as an associate. Wernick handles all facets of bankruptcy litigation and transactional matters including pre-bankruptcy planning, bankruptcy fraud, debtor and creditor cost/benefit analysis, and debt dischargeability.

Steven C. Pratico has become a shareholder in Johnson, Auvil, Brock & Wilson in Dade City, which will now be known as Johnson, Auvil, Brock & Pratico. Pratico handles complex litigation issues related to contract disputes, employment, and foreclosure matters.

Carolyn Conrad Meadows has joined Johnson, Auvil, Brock & Pratico in Dade City as an associate. Meadows’ practice areas include real property, civil litigation, and healthcare law.

Arturo (Art) Requenez II has joined Foley & Lardner in Miami as a partner working with the private equity and venture capital, transactional and securities, and Latin America practices.

Maria Priovolos Gonzalez and Spencer Tew have become partners with Tew Cardenas in Miami. Gonzalez concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, primarily in the areas of class actions, corporate and contract disputes, legal and accounting malpractice, fraud, bankruptcy, and land use litigation. Tew focuses his practice on commercial litigation in a wide array of business disputes, including real estate and construction litigation, securities and financial services litigation, white collar criminal defense, SEC civil enforcement actions, and class actions.

Amelia Hough Henderson has joined Cramer Law Center in Jacksonville as an associate. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, guardianship, and elder law.

Christopher S. Branton, Allison E. Campbell, and J. Scott Slater have become shareholders with Hill Ward Henderson in Tampa. Branton focuses on products liability and commercial litigation. Campbell focuses on acquisition and development as well as real estate finance. Slater practices professional liability and commercial litigation.

Trent Cotney has opened Trent Cotney, P.A., in downtown Tampa at 1207 N Franklin St., Suite 222. Cotney is a board certified construction lawyer, focusing on construction litigation and arbitration, OSHA defense, construction contract review and drafting, bid protests, construction-related dispute resolution, and contractor licensing defense.

William Hill and Jorge Guttman joined Gunster in Miami. Hill, a business litigator, joins the firm as a shareholder and Guttman, also a litigator, as an associate. Hill focuses his practice on complex litigation and arbitration and is board certified in business litigation. Guttman focuses on complex commercial litigation and business disputes.

Michael Henrickson has joined AerSale, Inc., in Coral Gables as director of contract management. He joins Gary Eakins, general counsel, and Tiffany Kolb, who has been named assistant general counsel, in the company’s legal department.

Matthew J. Ahearn, Kimberly B. Rezanka, and Stanley A. Gravenmier have been elected to serve on Dean Mead’s board of directors. Ahearn practices in estate and succession planning and is board certified in both wills, trusts and estates, and tax law. Rezanka leads the firm’s real estate development industry team. Gravenmier is the chair of the firm’s real estate department.

Ronald Scott Kaniuk has joined Sachs Sax Caplan in Boca Raton as senior counsel practicing in the community association practice group. Kaniuk’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, concentrating in the areas of community association law, commercial and residential real estate litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy/creditors’ rights, and asset recovery, as well as corporate and real estate matters.

John Silverfield has joined Barr, Murman & Tonelli in Tampa as an associate. Silverfield will work in the liability defense department.
