Andrea Montavon-McKillip has formed Peregrine Law, P.A., with its office at 300 S. Pine Island Rd., Suite 218, Plantation, 33324. Montavon-McKillip is board certified in immigration and nationality law, and focuses exclusively on immigration, including appeals and federal litigation relating to immigration matters.

Courtney Oakes, Eric Pendergraft, Joshua Plager, and Steven Ferrell have joined Burr & Forman as associates. Oakes, Pendergraft, and Plager join the financial services practice group in Ft. Lauderdale, and Ferrell joins the general commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and financial services practice groups in Orlando.

Dan McCarthy has joined Florida TaxWatch in Tallahassee as executive director of the TaxWatch Center for Smart Justice, where he will lead efforts to improve the Florida criminal and juvenile justice systems.

Alexander G. Knapp and Kristin F. Wood have joined Kubicki Draper in Tampa where they will focus on general civil litigation.

James A. Pickens has joined Kinsey, Vincent, Pyle in Daytona Beach as an associate.

Ellie Halperin and Jayne Regester Barkdull have formed Halperin Barkdull PL., located at 1601 Forum Place, Suite 500, West Palm Beach, 33401. The firm focuses on real estate law, business law, commercial transactions, and land use and zoning.

Douglas P. Lambert has joined Cohen, Norris, Wolmer, Ray, Telepman & Cohen in North Palm Beach, practicing in the areas of complex commercial litigation, general civil litigation, real property litigation, and mortgage foreclosure.

Seth S. Sheitelman has joined Cohen, Norris, Wolmer, Ray, Telepman & Cohen in North Palm Beach practicing in the areas of commercial and residential real estate.

Donna Marie Collins has been appointed Lee County chief hearing examiner in Ft. Myers. Collins conducts hearings on code enforcement, pending zoning applications, and appeals of administrative decisions within unincorporated Lee County.

Angela Prudenti and Tereina Walk have joined Sachs Sax Caplan in Boca Raton. Prudenti joins the commercial litigation and appeals practice group. Walk will work with the estate planning and probate practice group.

Jesse H. Diner of Fowler White Boggs in Ft. Lauderdale has been elected to the firm’s board of directors.

John A. Campbell III has joined Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy and Ford in Ft. Lauderdale as a partner. Campbell focuses on medical malpractice, premises liability, trucking litigation, long-term care litigation, and commercial litigation.

Hetal H. Desai has joined Sniffen & Spellman in Tallahassee as an associate. Desai practices in the areas of employment and civil rights, ethics, Sunshine Law and public records, local government, and land use law.

Jonathan F. Claussen has joined Berger Singerman in Boca Raton as an associate and member of the dispute resolution team. Matthew S. Welch has joined Cobb Cole in Daytona Beach as a partner. Welch handles real estate transactions, landlord/tenant issues, and general litigation.

Terri Meyers and Michael Landen have been named partners at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine in Miami. Meyers handles a variety of complex business litigation disputes, with a focus on intellectual property litigation. Landen works on complex, multi-party federal court disputes and heads the firm’s employment litigation practice.
