Exams will be remote through 2026
Certification exams will be administered remotely through 2026, with the exception of those hand writing their exam or special ADA requests. The option to handwrite your exam will take place in Orlando.

The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education presents two annual awards, the Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award and the Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification.
The nomination deadline for the 2025 awards is May 16.
The Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award
Presented annually by The Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice to a Florida Board Certified lawyer or judge, this award recognizes exemplary professionalism, excellence, character and commitment to The Florida Bar’s certification program and to the practice of law.
The Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification
This award recognizes excellence and creativity by a Florida Bar Board Certified lawyer or a law firm in advancing the public’s knowledge of and appreciation for legal board certification.
