Advertising Committee

Mission

The Advertising Committee administers the advertising evaluation program set forth in Rule 4-7.19, Rules of Professional Conduct. The committee is also responsible for advising bar members about permissible advertising and solicitation practices by issuing written advisory opinions, the evaluation of advertisements required to be filed with the committee, and the development of the Handbook on Advertising for the guidance of and dissemination to bar members. Finally, the committee recommends amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct to the Board of Governors.
