Mentoring New Lawyers Committee
Mission
The Committee on Mentoring New Lawyers has implemented a mentoring program focused on improving the quality of legal services by providing for lawyers with guidance from more experienced lawyers to enhance their professional well-being; practice, professionalism, and career advice; and a practice resource. In its first year, the mentoring program focused on lawyers (mentees) with three or fewer years of experience with three or fewer lawyers in their firm. The longer-term goal includes having lawyers with three or fewer years of experience that work for large firms and the government.
