Student art depicts Law Day for Highlands County

Volunteers from the Highlands County Bar Association were busy hanging posters from the group’s Law Day contest at the Highlands County Administration Building in Sebring. The community was invited to check out the efforts of local students who did a fantastic job depicting the theme: “Separation of Powers, Framework for Freedom.” 

Art contest features Law Day theme drawings

Posters depicting the 2018 Law Day theme “Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom,” created by students at West Riverside Elementary School, were exhibited for two weeks in the lobby of the Duval County Courthouse. Seminole County Bar Association Law Day

Seminole County Attorney Rhett Butner presented a Law Day program to junior high students at Wewoka School in conjunction with the theme, Separation of Powers. The Seminole County Bar Association also hosted its annual CLE and Law Day Luncheon to commemorate the event.

Career winner in Dade County Bar’s softball tournament
