The City of St. Augustine currently has an opening for an Assistant City Attorney.  This position is responsible for assisting the City Attorney in providing legal support to the City Commission, Departments and related City Boards and Committees.  The Assistant City Attorney works on all aspects of municipal law.  Work includes ordinance drafting, civil and criminal code enforcement litigation, public hearings, contracts and procurement, interlocal agreements, annexations, Florida public records law and Government in the Sunshine requirements.

Assistant City Attorney

The City of Lakeland is accepting applications for the position of Assistant City Attorney.  This position involves highly responsible and professional legal work advising elected, appointed and senior management officials, preparing ordinances, resolutions, contracts and real estate instruments, interacting with members of the public and successfully navigating a variety of other issues presented by the practice of local government law.  Applicants must be a graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, be a member in good standing of The Florida Bar and have at least three (3) years of progressively responsible legal experience.  The current annual salary range for the position is $76,303 to $141,723.  Applications should be submitted online at http://www.lakelandgov.net.
