The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy created by the resignation of Judge George Reynolds.
Applicants must have been members of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, registered voters, and residents of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time of assuming office.
Applications can be downloaded from The Florida Bar at www.floridabar.org.
Applicants are requested to provide an original application and all attachments; nine paper copies of the application and attachments; and a DVD or flash drive containing an unredacted electronic copy in PDF format of the application and all attachments and an electronic copy in PDF format of the application and all attachments in which all information that the applicant believes is confidential and/or exempt from disclosure under Florida’s public records law, Chapter 119 has been redacted.
The application and all paper and electronic copies must be delivered to Rick Figlio, JNC Chair, c/o Ausley McMullen, 123 S. Calhoun Street, P.O. Box 391 (32302), Tallahassee 32301 no later than 5 p.m. EST, March 31.
