A pplications for Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission chair being accepted

The Executive Office of the Governor is accepting applications for the position of chair of the Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission for a term ending June 30.

A subsequent four-year term will begin on July 1, and applicants may be considered for this additional four-year term.

The position is established in §443.012, Fla. Stat., and is vested with all authority and responsibilities relating to reemployment assistance appeal proceedings. The chair must have the qualifications required by law for a judge of the circuit court and shall not engage in any other business, vocation, or employment.

The “Gubernatorial Appointments Questionnaire” should be completed as the application and is available at the Governor’s Appointments website. Mail Questionnaires to the Governor’s Appointments Office, the Capitol Building, Suite LL-09, Tallahassee, 32300-0001. Applications must be received by April 30.
