Bob Lamm of Gunster in West Palm Beach received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Ninth Annual Corporate Secretary Corporate Governance Awards.

Ramon de la Cabada of Miami taught a course to prosecutors and public defenders on trial advocacy skills in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a course to the same audience on the same issues in Neuquén, Argentina. He also spoke on the process of jury selection in both Rosario, Argentina, and Neuquén.

Miranda Lundeen Soto and Hildy Sastre of Shook, Hardy & Bacon presented “Personalizing the Corporate Client: Reversing the Reptilian Theory in High-Stakes Litigation” to over 100 companies at the annual Association of Corporate Counsel conference in San Francisco.

Andrew G. Tretter of GrayRobinson in Naples received the Pro Bono Service Award from the Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association for his representation in the case, McNeeley v. Wilson.

Thomas P. Fabricio of Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson in Ft. Lauderdale was appointed to the Broward County Charter Review Commission.

Terri Feldman Lubaroff of Legion M Entertainment, Inc., in Hollywood, CA, was on two panels at Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con, where she spoke about “The Past, Present and Future of Fandom” and “Legion M.” She also spoke about “Legion M” at Silicon Valley Comic Con and Palm Springs Comic Con. She spoke on “Comic Book Law School” at San Diego Comic Con and at Wheedonverse. Lubaroff also served as co-chair of the Southern California Mediation Association’s Annual Conference.
