Child Welfare Independent Living Programs & Eligibility
Overview
Florida has, over the years, added to the benefits and services offered to young people both when they are in case and after they turn 18. Because it's grown over time, the independent living system is really complex. This course, presented by Robin Rosenberg, deputy director with Florida's Children First, will explore in detail the different eligibility options and criteria (placement status, history in care, educational status and qualifying activity).
