NOMINATING PETITIONS SOUGHT FOR FOURTH CIRCUIT SEAT ON THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS

Executive Director Joshua E. Doyle has announced a vacancy on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar due to the resignation of Fourth Circuit board member Michael G. Tanner. Tanner was finishing out a two-year term on the board.
The office commences on June 19 and continues for a term ending June 25, 2021, or until a successor is elected and qualifies.
Pursuant to Rule 2-3.9, nominating petitions for the vacancy must be filed with the office of the Executive Director on or before 5 p.m., Friday, February 14. Election ballots will be emailed or mailed on or before Friday, February 28, and voted ballots must be received prior to midnight, March 23.
Nominating petitions for the Fourth Circuit vacancy must be signed by no fewer than five members in good standing whose official Bar address is in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
