1ST DISTRICT COURT OF APPEAL JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP
The First District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) met at 9:30 a.m. (EST) 8:30 a.m. (CST) on Friday, July 10, 2020, via conference call for its annual Organizational Meeting. Benjamin J. Gibson was elected Chair and Mohammad O. Jazil was elected Vice Chair for terms commencing immediately until July 1, 2021.
Benjamin Gibson is a partner in the law firm of Shutts & Bowen, LLP. Mohammad Jazil is a partner in the law firm of Hopping, Green & Sams.
