20TH CIRCUIT JNC ANNOUNCES CERTIFICATION OF CANDIDATES
On Oct. 2, 2025, the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission convened for the purpose of selecting and submitting the names of highly qualified lawyers for appointment to the Circuit Court and County Court vacancies as a result of the vacancies caused by the resignation of Circuit Court Judge Mary Evans and the retirement of Charlotte County Court Judge John Burns.
The Commission conducted interviews with ten (10) applicants for County Court Judge and sixteen (16) applicants for Circuit Court Judge on Nov. 14, 2025. The following applicants have been selected for consideration and appointment to the bench:
