2ND CIRCUIT JNC SUBMITS NAMES TO GOVERNOR DESANTIS FOR LEON COUNTY COURT VACANCY
The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) submitted six names to Governor Ron DeSantis for consideration and appointment to fill the vacancy on the Leon County Court created by the elevation of Judge Layne Smith to the Second Circuit Court. The JNC reviewed eighteen applications for this vacancy and interviewed eleven applicants on August 11, 2020, via video conference.
The nominees are:

2. Yolonda Y. Green
3. Alexis Lambert
4. Stephanie M. Morris
5. Todd P. Resavage
6. Mark S. Urban
The members of the Judicial Nominating Commission include the following: Matthew J. Carson, Chair, Dan Russell, Vice-Chair, Hayden Dempsey, Kristina R. Osterhaus, Darrick D. McGhee, Sr., Brian Newman, Erik Matthew Figlio, Robert Neil Clarke, Jr., and William Spicola.
