2ND DCA JNC ANNOUNCES COURT VACANCY
Application Extension:
The Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission has extended the application deadline for applications to the 2d DCA until Wed., Dec. 3, 2025, at 4 p.m. All other application instructions from the Commission’s Press Release dated Oct. 22, 2025, remain unchanged.
Interview Dates and Location:
The Commission will interview candidates on Wed., Dec. 17, 2025, and Thurs., Dec. 18, 2025 (if necessary). The Commission will publish an additional notice following the close of the application period containing the names of applicants and the interview schedule.

Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission Organizational Meeting:
The Commission held an organizational meeting on Wed., Oct. 29, 2025, at 4 p.m., to take up selection of the Commission Chair and Vice Chair. The Commissioned elected Eliot B. Peace and Todd A. Jennings, Chair and Vice Chair, respectively.
