4TH CIRCUIT JNC ANNOUNCES LIST OF NOMINEES FOR NASSAU COUNTY COURT JUDICIAL VACANCY
On Nov.13, 2025, the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fourth Judicial Circuit interviewed seven (7) applicants to fill the vacancy for Nassau County Court created by enactment of SB 2508. Following deliberations and thoughtful consideration of each applicant, the Commission nominates the following individuals (in alphabetical order and without any preference) to Gov. Ron DeSantis:
Sarah Bell
Denise May
Joel Powell
The Commission sincerely thanks the members of the bench, bar, and public who took time to provide feedback about the applicants. A Certified list will be provided to the Governor at a later date, as FDLE background checks are still outstanding.
