8TH CIRCUIT JNC ANNOUNCES NOMINEES FOR CIRCUIT COURT JUDGESHIP
The Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission convened and conducted interviews of seven of the individuals who applied to fill the Circuit Court vacancy created by the retirement of Judge James Nilon.
Following post-interview deliberations, the commission voted on final recommendations for the six highest qualified applicants. The certified list of names of the nominees sent to Gov. Ron DeSantis, alphabetically ordered, is as follows:
- Glenn E. Bryan
- Jodi H. Cason
- Katherine L. Floyd
- Julie C. Johnson
- Monica Perez-McMillen
- George Wright
The Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission members are Norm D. Fugate, chair; Brande S. Smith, vice chair; Ronald Bendekovic, Adam Boukari, Candice Brower, Brian Kramer, Kirsten L. Rowe, Brent Siegel and Robert Woody.
