8TH CIRCUIT JNC NOTICE OF APPLICANTS SELECTED FOR INTERVIEWS
The Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission has selected applicants for interviews for the vacant circuit judge seat created by the retirement of Judge James Nilon. The interviews will be held Monday, May 18, beginning at 9 a.m. at the State’s Attorney’s Office, 120 West University Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601. The applicants selected for interviews and appointed interview times are as follows:
- Glenn Earl Bryant 9 a.m.
- Jodie H. Cason 9:30 a.m.
- Katherine L. Floyd 10 a.m.
- Julie C. Johnson 10:45 a.m.
- Monice Perez-McMillen 11:15 a.m.
- Kelly R. McNeal 11:45 a.m.
- George Wright 12:15 p.m.
The interviews are open to the public. In order to comply with proper social distancing protocol, a live video feed will be provided in a separate conference room. Deliberation sessions, which generally occur before the interviews begin, during breaks and at the conclusion of all interviews, are confidential.
