THE FLORIDA BAR BOARD OF GOVERNORS SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR MAY APPOINTMENT
The Florida Bar Board of Governors is seeking applicants for the following vacancy to be filled during its May 16, 2025, meeting. Lawyer applicants must be members of The Florida Bar and in good standing.
Florida Legal Services, Inc., Board of Directors: One attorney to serve a three-year term commencing July 1, 2025. Florida Legal Services (FLS) is a statewide non-profit civil legal aid serving low-income clients. The board oversees governance, ensures fiscal responsibility, and upholds the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality legal assistance to low-income and vulnerable persons who would not otherwise have the means to obtain a lawyer.
Applications will be accepted until close of business on Monday, April 7, 2025. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of the required application. The Board of Governors will review all applications and may request telephone or personal interviews.
