LAW FIRM OF PAJCIC & PAJCIC TO RECEIVE COMMENDATION FOR PRO BONO WORK

The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic — a Jacksonville-based law firm that has made pro bono service an integral part of the firm's ethos — will receive the 2026 Law Firm Commendation from Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz at the annual Pro Bono Awards ceremony Jan. 22 at the Supreme Court of Florida. The commendation honors significant contributions in the delivery of legal services to individuals or groups on a pro bono basis.
For decades, The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic has exemplified the highest ideals of public service and access to justice. Attorneys at the firm participate in pro bono representation of clients and financial support for pro bono providers.
Pajcic & Pajcic has raised well over $1 million for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) just through its annual Pajcic Yard Golf Tournament, which has raised well over $1 million dollars for JALA. The firm not only organizes the event each year, but it also matches donations dollar-for-dollar.
The culture of pro bono service at the highest level permeates the entire Pajcic & Pajcic team, where every member consistently demonstrates a commitment to service through individual pro bono, financial and volunteer contributions. On multiple occasions JALA has recognized Pajcic & Pajcic for having 100% pro bono participation by its attorneys, and JALA has even awarded the Justice for All Award for the firm’s outstanding and sustained hours of pro bono services and financial support.
The list of individual legal and otherwise philanthropic contributions by the firm’s attorneys is vast and varied. These include hours donated by attorney Bob Link, who served as lead counsel on a case for the Innocence Project, which works to free inmates who are wrongly imprisoned. Partner Raymond Reid also has a long history of legal service, including serving on the board for Funding Florida Legal Aid, and serving on Florida’s first “Conviction Integrity Unit.” This panel was established to review cases of possible wrongful conviction and to seek justice for those who may have been imprisoned in error.
This year’s awards ceremony, which also honors Individual, Circuit, Voluntary Bar, Young Lawyers Division, Distinguished Judicial Service, and Distinguished Federal Judicial Service pro bono efforts, takes place at the Florida Supreme Court on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 3:30 p.m. Watch it live on Facebook, WFSU: Gavel to Gavel and the Florida Channel.
