Newly Enhanced Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service Launched

The Florida Bar has launched a newly enhanced online Lawyer Referral Service designed to provide users with a modern, easy-to-navigate conduit to more than 600 participating Florida attorneys across 120 practice areas. The service, which is free to use, utilizes artificial intelligence categorization to help guide users from their computer or mobile device and instantly connects them with the right lawyer for any legal situation.

“Finding adequate legal counsel can be a stressful and difficult process, with many not knowing there are plenty of resources available to help,” said Florida Bar President Michelle R. Suskauer. “Technology can be a powerful bridge to open access to our courts. The Florida Bar’s Lawyer Referral Service makes finding an attorney easier and more convenient than ever before.”

The enhanced site is an expanded member benefit designed to help drive new business for Florida attorneys in more than 120 practice areas. The Lawyer Referral service provides participating members with more than 70,000 referrals each year, generating an estimated $3.49 million in new business for members. The new platform is easy for panel attorneys to use, providing members the ability to update their profiles, receive referrals directly to their inbox and features an enhanced reporting and payment system.

Florida residents can begin their search for an attorney by visiting the website and submitting an online request. Users are instructed to select their county and the practice area that relates to their question as well as contact information. Links to local bar association lawyer referral services are provided to those living outside The Florida Bar’s referral service coverage area.
