TALLAHASSEE – In eight contested Florida Bar Board of Governors elections, six candidates won election outright. In two races, four candidates will be in runoff elections to be decided in April.
The Young Lawyers Division Out-of-State Board of Governors election also produced a winner.
Bruce W. Robinson (Third Circuit, Seat 1); Michael Fox Orr (Fourth Circuit, Seat 1); Paige A. Greenlee (Thirteenth Circuit, Seat 4); Hilary Creary (Seventeenth Circuit, Seat 4); and James G. Vickaryous (Eighteenth Circuit, Seat 1) won election to two-year terms.
Gregory S. Weiss (Nineteenth Circuit, Seat 1) won election for an unexpired term ending in June 2019.
In the First Circuit, Jeremy C. Branning will be in a runoff with Joseph Passeretti for the Seat 1 position. In the Eleventh Circuit, Seat 3, Jordan Dresnick faces Patrick Montoya in a runoff.
Brandon Lee Wolff won the YLD Out-of-State election for a two-year term.
Ballots were sent to eligible attorneys in circuits with contested elections in early March. Results of the elections were announced by Florida Bar Executive Director Joshua E. Doyle on March 26.

For the runoff elections in the First and Eleventh circuits, ballots will be distributed on or before April 2. The deadline for voting is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 23.
Voters will receive an e-ballot and have the option of voting online (using their Personal Identification Number and member number) in lieu of returning a paper ballot. There will also be a link posted on the Bar’s homepage.
