Tampa area residents in need of legal assistance are invited to a free Ask-A-Lawyer event at the Seminole Heights Library on Saturday, April 1, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Seminole Heights Library is located at 4711 Central Ave. in Tampa.
The Ask-A-Lawyer service is free-of-charge. Attorneys will conduct one-on-one, 10-to-15-minute consultations. Attorneys participating have expertise in many areas of law and can provide guidance and answer your questions about:
§ Real estate and foreclosures
§ Wills and estates
§ Collections defense
§ Consumer rights issues
This event is sponsored by The Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee, which in conjunction with this year’s National Consumer Protection Week in March held Ask-A-Lawyer events across the state in Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and West Palm Beach.
On Saturday, participants will be assisted on a first come, first served basis. They will be asked to sign statements verifying that they understand that the interviewing attorney will not be representing them.
