I’m appalled at the violent imagery of the photo in the advertisement on the inside back cover of the June 2017 issue. It shows a helpless, terrified woman being kicked and beaten by four people in business suits. If it’s a joke, the humor is lost on me. Members of the public read the Journal and could think those thugs are lawyers, which was my first impression. The advertiser debases our noble profession by projecting an image of violence against a terrified victim to sell its services.
