Selig I. Goldin Award Nominations Sought

The Criminal Law Section is seeking nominations for the 2018 Selig I. Goldin Memorial Award, the highest honor given by the Criminal Law Section, which recognizes the recipient’s “outstanding contributions” to Florida’s criminal justice system.

Previous recipients include justices of the Florida Supreme Court, judges of the district courts of appeal and circuit courts, a former U.S. attorney general, state attorneys, public defenders, private defense lawyers, and law professors. More information and a list of previous recipients can be found at www.flacls.org/selig-goldin-award.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m., January 4, 2018, and must include the candidate’s name and contact information, a resume or biographical sketch, and a description of their contributions to the criminal justice system.
