AFTER MORE THAN 14 YEARS of service to the Animal Law Committee and the newly formed Animal Law Section, Boca Raton attorney Gil Panzer, left, stepped down from ALS leadership. Panzer most recently served as ALS secretary and executive council member. He will remain a member of the ALS. Panzer received the ALC Exceptional Service Award in 2015 for his contributions to animal law in Florida. ALS Chair Ralph DeMeo, right, of Tallahassee appointed Tampa attorney and ALS Executive Council member Jennifer Dietz as secretary, and Ocala attorney and Board of Governors member Renee Thompson to the ALS Executive Council to replace Panzer.
