Robert L. Parks of The Law Offices of Robert L. Parks was named a co-recipient of the Plaintiff Lawyer of the Year Award from the Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

He also served on a panel to discuss “My Miami Story” during the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office sponsored by the Dade County Bar and The Miami Foundation.

Eric K. Gabrielle of Stearns Weaver Miller in Ft. Lauderdale presented “Employment Law: LGBTQ Best Practices for Employers” at the Florida LGBTQ Legal Aid Summit.

M. Thérèse (“Terry”) Vento, Pérez Art Museum Miami’s general counsel, was named the top in-house legal counsel at the Dade County Bar Association’s Legal Luminaries Award Ceremony.

Anitra F. Raiford received the Shook, Hardy & Bacon William G. Zimmerman 2017 Pro Bono Award for her service on behalf of a pro bono client.
