Voluntary Bar Leaders Conference logoVoluntary Bar Leaders Conference set for July

Leaders from Florida’s organized voluntary bar community will gather on July 14-15 for the 2017 Voluntary Bar Leaders Conference at the BoardWalk Inn at Walt Disney World Resorts.

Attendees of the conference will have the option of choosing from 16 different breakout sessions on topics designed to enhance their skill set to lead a voluntary bar.

The two-day conference will feature Lenn Millbower, a 25-year Disney veteran employee, as the keynote speaker. In his motivating and uplifting keynote presentation, Millbower will share the details of his 4C success formula.

• Creativity of effort;

• Continuity of focus;

• Customerization of his people approach; and

• Confidence in his abilities and results.

“Millbower’s presentation will leave bar leaders inspired, exhilarated, and motivated to conquer the rigorous challenges of the voluntary bar association world,” said Ashley Hardee, co-chair of the conference.

“He will show us how to create a magical career and life and how to succeed like a mouse.”

Another highlight of the conference will be a town hall session with 2017-18 Florida Bar President Michael Higer, giving conference participants a chance to ask questions and exchange ideas with the incoming president on issues important to voluntary bars.

The conference’s closing session features Debbie Lundberg — the principal of Presenting Powerfully, a national firm providing keynotes and facilitations, training delivery, collaborative teaming events, and one-on-one life, business/career, and presentation coaching sessions — who will share her strategies for leading a voluntary bar.

There will be networking opportunities throughout the conference and a grand reception on Friday evening.
