Duane Morris raises funds for the Crystal Academy
DUANE MORRIS SERVED AS A CO-SPONSOR for a fundraiser to benefit the Crystal Academy, a Coral Gables-based center dedicated to early and intense therapeutic interventions for children diagnosed with autism and related developmental delays. The academy has operated in the area since September 2009. Children frequently reach school age prepared to learn, but ill-equipped for the pace and environmental stresses of a typical classroom environment. In response to those needs, the Crystal Academy Primary School provides a special-needs modified academic program for grades K through 3 that emphasizes achievable academic growth, self-sufficiency, appropriate social interaction, and problem solving. The academy will use all funds to provide scholarships to students in need of financial assistance.
