Ian Ronderos of Miami and Kelly Corcoran of Ft. Lauderdale were elected to partnership in Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson. Ronderos focuses his practice on first-party and third-party insurance defense litigation and policy limits demand opinions. Corcoran focuses his practice on liability insurance coverage and bad faith.

Andrew W. Lennox and Casey Reeder Lennox opened Lennox Law, P.A., located at 4905 S. Westshore Blvd., Tampa. The husband-and-wife team will continue to practice in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy.

Mark Massey of Tampa has been appointed a judge of compensation claims by Gov. Rick Scott.

Maria del Carmen Ramos and Mindi M. Richter have been named partners of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick in Tampa. Ramos focuses on immigration and employment issues. Richter focuses on trademark selection, registration, and protection, as well as trade secrets, copyright, patent, and Internet matters.

Matthew T. Ramenda has become a shareholder with Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs in West Palm Beach. Ramenda concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business torts, securities law, and municipal law.

Pleat & Perry, P.A., with offices in Destin, Navarre, and Rosemary Beach, has changed its name to Pleat, Perry & Ritchie, P.A., to recognize the services of partner William J. “West” Ritchie.

Diane J. Geller has joined Fox Rothschild in West Palm Beach as a partner. Geller practices employment law.

Theresa “Cissy” Proctor has become deputy director of legislative affairs at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in Tallahassee. Proctor will focus on advancing the economic needs of Florida in partnership with the Governor’s Office and Legislature.

Paul Milberg has been named a partner with Katzman Garfinkel & Berger in Margate. Milberg concentrates on complex commercial litigation matters primarily in the areas of contract, real estate, landlord-tenant, probate, consumer, and community association law.

Melissa Tapanes Llahues has been named a full partner and shareholder of Bercow Radell & Fernandez in Miami. Tapanes Llahues represents the interests of landowners, institutional clients, and developers seeking approvals from governmental boards and agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.

Russell J. Frank founded The Frank Family Defense Firm, LLC, located at 1800 Pembrook Drive, Suite 300, Orlando 32810. The Frank Family Defense Firm will focus on all aspects of marital and family law matters and criminal defense.

Andrea Mirabito Frank has joined Palmer Ranch Holdings in Sarasota as general counsel. Frank will oversee real estate interests and strategic planning of Palmer Ranch Holdings, Ltd., in Sarasota County.

Linda Weiksnar has been named a partner with The Law Firm of Crary Buchanan in Stuart. She heads the family law department, providing legal services related to adoption, time sharing, child support, collaborative divorce, dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution, modification of prior court orders, parenting plans, relocation, spousal support, mediation, and visitation.

Boyer & Jackson, a Sarasota-based elder law firm, has opened an office in Austin, TX, located at 4611 Bee Caves Road, Suite 307b, Austin 78746. Mary Alice Jackson will be managing the Austin office and her practice will primarily focus on special needs trusts, long-term care counseling, and estate planning.

Albert A. del Castillo has returned to the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in the firm’s national public finance practice.

David S. Carus has become a shareholder with Allen, Dyer, Doppelt, Milbrath and Gilchrist in Orlando. Carus practices in the areas of patent prosecution.
